About the company Plastolight^®


LiteScout^® is a product of the company Plastolight^®. LiteScout is an example of our systems solutions for most modern electroluminescent-technology (www.plastolight.com). Company-services include consulting, conception of light systems and -planning as well as prototyping and serial manufacturing.

Our longlasting experience in combining electroluminiscence systems with different materials or integrating them in already existing objects, makes us to be a qualified and reliable partner already in the phase of early project development. We are setting high value on the specific customers needs in tailorized applications of EL-lamps as well as on their efficiency with the help of customized electrical power supplies.

Initial talks with the “Blindeninstitutsstiftung München“(Foundation for the Institute of the Blind in Munich), the VBS (Association of Pedagogues for the Blind and Partially Sighted) and the VzFB gegr. 1876 e.V. (Registered charitable institution for furthering the education of the Blind, founded in 1876) led to the concept and development of the LiteScout-system, liscensed in 2003.

The basic idea was to design a sturdy and portable alternative to the conventional lightbox. The ideal material for these very specific applications was found in Plastolight and perfectly integrated into a new product: LiteScout.

With this innovative development the market for learning-games and educational materials for stimulation and early intervention of blind, partially sighted and multiple handicaped people will be supplemented.

Inexistent product attributes (non-dazzling, magnetism) are combined in an innovative way emerging many new possibilities in education and intervention.
